The Partnership Agreements Which Paved Inspired Gaming’s Way to Successful H2 2016

However, not only H2 was busy and successful for the company, but 2016 as a whole.

This year was filled with a massive number of partnership deals for the company, which helped it bolster its presence in various regulated markets on a global scale and expanded the reach of its services, making them available to more customers.

Partnerships. That is what could sum up the year 2016 for Inspired Gaming Group, and especially the second half of the year. The supplier of Server Based Gaming systems and various casino games, sports betting, VLT and bingo solutions has done everything but sitting tight this year, inking a large number of agreements with some of the largest and best-established gambling operators on the market.

Over the year, Inspired Gaming has announce a large number of partnership deals aimed at expanding its presence in the market. The operator has joined forces with some of the most reliable and well-established companies on a global scale, such as bet365, Betfair, Betfred, Ladbrokes and Coral, BetConstruct, Paddy Power, EveryMatrix, etc. Each of these deals meant a lot for the company, as it helped it on the way to expanding and consolidating its presence on a global scale.

Here are the deals that Inspired itself has recognised as the most important achievements for the company over the second half of the current fiscal year:

OPAP Deal

In September 2016, Inspired Gaming Group announced that a memorandum of understanding with the leading Greece-based betting and lottery operator OPAP has been signed. As revealed in the company’s official press release, the deal was crucial for Inspired, as it came as the first step towards the British company developing a qualitative suite of products and services in collaboration with OPAP.

At the beginning of November, Inspired also announced its intentions to start the release of its VLT cabinets with the Greek betting and lottery operator. Of course, the deal first got the approval of the Hellenic Gaming Commission.

Currently, Inspired Gaming Group is one of the four VLT suppliers which work in collaboration with OPAP.

LT Game Macau Deal

At the beginning of October 2016 Inspired Gaming Group posted an official press release, revealing it has reached a partnership agreement with LT Games. Under the terms of the deal, the British company is to provide Macau casino operators with its qualitative Virtual Sports.

This was described by the company as the first deal of its kind. The deal was truly important for the UK-based company, as it allowed it set foot at Macau and reach local casino operators. Currently, LT Game is one of the major gaming and casino operators in Macau and the entire Asia Pacific Region. The company holds more than 4,500 Live Multi Gaming Terminals (LMGs) which are located in a total of 22 land-based casinos in Macau. This is the first deal between the two parties ever.

Global Starnet Deal

At the beginning of December, Inspired Gaming Group announced a partnership deal with Global Starnet. Under the terms of the agreement, the company was to integrate the VLT terminals of Global Starnet into its Open Platform technology.

As a result of the agreement, Global Starnet was provided with the chance to expand and diversify its product offering, and the companies’ officials revealed that the number of terminals connected to the Open Platform of Inspired are expected to double over the next two years.

Inspired Gaming Group itself has shared it recognises the deal as one of the most important ones inked in 2016, as it is aimed at helping it consolidate its presence in Italy.

Nevada Gaming Control Board Certification

Apart from the partnership deals reached by the company over the year, Inspired Gaming announced that its land-based Virtual Sports products have passed the technical field trial and got the certification of the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

This was a great step for the UK-based software supplier as it provided it with the chance to bring its land-based Virtual Sports for the first time in Nevada. This is not a minor achievement for the UK company, which once again proved that it is the world market leader in this field.

The full Virtual Sports product suite of the company is expected to become available in Nevada across the William Hill Casino Sportsbook operations in 2017.

Shaquille O’Neal Partnership

In the middle of September 2016, Inspired announced that it has signed a contract for an exclusive brand partnership with Shaqulle O’Neal, a legendary figure in the NBA and recent addition to the Hall of Fame.

Under the terms of the agreement, the retired NBA player became the face of the British company’s new Rush Basketball product suite, as revealed by Inspired, are planned to be launched in 2017 on a global scale. The Rush Basketball product group involved a number of products, each of which feature the NBA star. The offerings will be developed especially for the land-based casino, sports betting and lottery sectors. Of course, there will also be digital variants for players who prefer betting online or through their mobile devices. An in-play version will also be available via the Virgo RGS platform of Inspired.
